Kitchen Collab is a shared kitchen available for rent to caterers, private chefs, food production companies and food trucks, offering a fully equipped commercial kitchen, modern and versatile event space, business support, and a network of like-minded culinary creatives.

We had the pleasure of building an event table and bar table for Kitchen Collab’s private dining room. The table, our ‘Zhao’ design, seats up to 10 people, an ideal setting for intimate dinners, private tastings and small meetings. The bar-height table serves as a great companion to the dining table, for extra prep space, drinkware or serving needs.

‘OFF THE WALL’ Shelving Unit

This project has been one of our most remarkable collaborations to date, working closely with designer Annie MacFadyen of Ryan Group Architects to bring her vision to life: creating a minimalist integration of thin plate steel and wood as a design premise for this bold and breathtaking office wall unit. The initial goal was to make the entire steel frame completely seamless, however we quickly realized that the sheer size and weight of the piece required a breakdown version so as to be able to transport it. So we redesigned the piece in a way to breakdown into several sections while also allowing future versions of the design to be modular so that other pieces can be added or some sections could be stand-alone, with the ability to customize the options to a person's individual needs.

A bold contrast between satin-black powder-coated steel and flat-sawn white oak commands attention, and closed cabinetry with soft-closure doors and adjustable shelves inside provides functionality with open shelving to showcase a person's most treasured things. An integrated plate steel art frame was also worked into the design, which connects to both the console cabinet and shelving unit.
